Ana Paula Oliveira born May 26th, 1978 Campinas Sao Paulo Brazil. She is a well-known actress for Woman on Top (2000) Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira was appointed as a member of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime in March 2020. She currently works as an analyst in charge of the Assassination Witness project and an integral member of the G-TOC's multilateral engagement team. Her work at GI-TOC is focused on the assassination of people in contexts of illicit economies. Her interests in research also include the impact of organized crime on human rights and humanitarian rights as well as legislation and policies. Ana Paula is a graduate of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (Geneva) with an LL.M. Fundacao Getulio Vargas has awarded her an LL.M. cum laude with a focus on Public Law. Ana Paula is a graduate from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro with a magnacum laude degree in Legal Science as well as Social Sciences. The experience she has gained as a lawyer has included four years of practicing at a firm that specializes in the area of public law litigation. She was employed in non-governmental organizations headquarters in Rio de Janeiro as well as Geneva.
